Ruoxi Villa

The cradle of Chinese landscape poetry on Nanxi River

 

 

Ruoxi Villa is located in shangrichuan Village (also known as Ruoxi Village), Hesheng Town, Yongjia County. It is a sketch base  of Chinese landscape painting as well as art village. It is a comprehensive village integrating art galleries, museums, artist studios, artist gardens, bars, and artist sketching bases. Ruoxi Villa is positioned as a Chinese art village.

 

Ruoxi Villa mainly covers three aspects: College sketch teaching, youth art camp, and agricultural, cultural and tourism derivatives development.

Yanshang homestay village

The cradle of Chinese landscape poetry on Nanxi River

 

 

Yanshang village is located at the entrance of Longwantan scenic spot, a National Forest Park in Yongjia County. Surrounded by mountains, clear water and pleasant scenery, it is rated as a national forest village.

 

In 2019, led by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Yongjia County Committee and the government of Hesheng Town, a Nanxi River Mountain and water sketching base integrating sketching, exhibition and training was built with Yanshang village.

Nanxi Academy

The cradle of Chinese landscape poetry on Nanxi River

 

 

Nanxi Academy (Xishan Academy) is located in shiweiyan scenic area, Hesheng Town, Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, belonging to Yandang Mountain. It is a comprehensive architectural community integrating art galleries, artist studios and artist sketching bases. Its positioning is the rejuvenation base of Chinese traditional culture and the platform for cultural exchange between China and the West.

 

Nanxi academy mainly covers five aspects: Chinese traditional culture forum, academic research; Art exhibitions and works of art; Study tours; College sketching teaching and creation; Development of art derivatives. Introduction to sketching attractions

 

Lishui ancient street

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lishui ancient street is located in Yantou Town, formed in the Qing Dynasty, with a total length of more than 300 meters. More than 90 storefront corridors are connected. The corridors are built next to the water, winding with the water. Red lanterns are hung under the corridors, facing the towering ancient trees and green shadows. There are Lishui ancient bridge, Jieguan Flower Pavilion, Nanxi Shizhai and other landscapes along the street.

 

Cangpo ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

Cangpo ancient village backs on Bijia mountain and faces Nanxi River. The architecture of Cangpo ancient village is the concentration of ancient Chinese culture, and its architectural concept comes from the four treasures of study. Entering the wooden village gate, a straight slate road runs through the village, which is a pen; There is a bridge in the middle of the stone road, which is made of five symmetrical stone strips, called ink; The largest area of the whole village is the lotus pond on both sides of the stone path, which is an inkstone; The rectangular village is paper. The village was designed by Li Shiri, the national teacher of the Southern Song Dynasty. After thousands of years of vicissitudes, it still retains the stockade walls, roads, houses, pavilions, ancestral temples and ancient cypresses built in the Song Dynasty, as well as the cobblestone walls built around the village. The very old banyan trees in the walls, the pavilions under the trees and the dragons on the eaves show a strong ancient flavor everywhere.

 

Furong ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

Furong ancient village is located in the south of Yantou Town, Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, on the west side of Xianqing road. It is a large village with its back against the "Furong Sanguan" and is arranged on the ground. It was founded in the late Tang Dynasty and is a place where the surname Chen lives together. There was no Hibiscus in Furong Village, so it was named because there were three high cliffs on the southwest mountain, which were white and red, like three hibiscus flowers in bud.

 

Furong Village has the longest history among the villages in Nanxi River. It is planned and designed according to the idea of "seven stars and eight fights", which means that the stars in the sky correspond to the people on the earth, and the stars build a platform and dig a pool as a symbol. Here, you can not only understand the evolution of ancient Chinese farming and reading culture and clan culture, but also feel the moving charm of village architectural art.

 

Daitou ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

 

Daitou ancient village is located in daroyan Town, Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province. In ancient times, it was called Daichuan or daigu. The land type tilted from west to East. Its shape was like a ship, and it was called the land of ship type. Built in the late Yuan Dynasty, Daitou ancient village is backed by Jiuluo mountain, with red cliffs and facing Wushan mountain. It is verdant and tall. It is a village inhabited by relatives of Chen.

 

The ancient village of Daitou is built against the mountain, with scattered layout and distinct layers. The ancient village takes Chen's ancestral hall to WoLonggang as the central area, and there are Chen's ancestral hall, Jicui temple, ink marsh pond, ink marsh fragrance, yuhou temple, Qulu and other ancient buildings.

 

Yubei ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yubei village is subordinate to Yantan Town, Yongjia County. It is located in the north of Yantan Town, 3 kilometers away from Yantan town in the South and 60 kilometers away from the county seat. Originally the settlement of Xu family, it was built in Tang Dynasty. In the Southern Song Dynasty, the two brothers Wang Yingchen and Wang Yinglong, the ministers of the Ministry of officials, moved from Yushan, Jiangxi Province to hide here in order to avoid the persecution of Qin Hui's treacherous parties. So far, they have lived for 35 generations. Now, the Wang family name accounts for more than 90% of the population of Yubei village. His family is solid and prosperous, and handsome men are born. 

 

Linkeng ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

Linkeng is located in Huangnan township. Most of the Linkeng people are surnamed Mao, and they have built the village for more than 700 years. It is said that in the earliest time, the surname Lin lived. Later, somehow, the surname Lin changed address with the surname Mao in the nearby Daoji village, and the surname Mao lived and multiplied in Linkeng.

 

Linkeng is not just a false name. It has the most complete preserved mountain dwellings in the Nanxi River. They all have a history of more than 100 years, and the oldest wooden house has been more than 200 years.

 

The exquisitely shaped wooden house is hidden in the green mountains and rivers, which is simple and natural. The folk houses built near the mountain are scattered and harmonious. Small bridges in the village, flowing water, smoke curling, white clouds sometimes winding, people do not know where they are.

 

 

Yaxia reservoir

 

 

 

 

Yaxia reservoir is located in the valley 2.5 kilometers north by west of xiaoruojou in daroyan town. A stream is 1 km long, more than 30 meters empty, and the steep walls on both sides are more than 300 meters high, revealing only a line of blue sky.

 

There are many scenic spots around yaxia reservoir, deep valleys and long Gorges, heavy cliffs and overlapping peaks, sinister and magnificent, quiet and charming. There is a huge stone on the side of the road at the entrance of yaxia reservoir, which looks like a person sitting cross legged. With a kind smile, it is called "welcoming Fairy". On the left side of yaxia reservoir, there is a canyon, about 200 meters long and nearly 20 meters wide, which is very secluded and called "immortal stream". On the hillside on the left side of yaxia reservoir, a stone about 10 meters square is called "owl stone". 100 meters above the owl stone, there is a rectangular Boulder, under which a thick and short stone column stands, like a sedan chair, named "fairy sedan chair".

 

shiweiyan  scenic area

 

 

 

 

Located in Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, shiweiyan scenic area is surrounded by streams on three sides and becomes a gorge, with a relative height of 306 meters. It can be called "Tianzhu in southern Zhejiang" and "the first in China". Its landscape is characterized by magnificence, strangeness, danger, beauty, seclusion and mystery. The main scenic spots are Shiwei rock, small Three Gorges, Narcissus cave, Kirin peak, water phonolite, pineapple rock, etc.

 

There is a large lawn in the north of Shiwei rock, green as felt. On the wide and calm stream to the south of Shiwei rock, there are more than 70 meter long shiding steps. When the sun sets, the majestic Shiwei rock is reflected in the blue water. The shepherd boy drives the cattle and hums a ditty. The smoke curls from the kitchen over Xiaao village on the opposite bank, which is a poetic pastoral landscape.

 

The mountains around Shiwei rock are steep. In the morning, the clouds are like tide, flooding the mountains. Only the peak of Shiwei rock is above the clouds, like the mast on a ship. To the east of Shiwei rock, there is a sudden rock, called "human head rock", which looks like a woodcutter gazing into the distance and carefully escorting it.

 

Longwan Lake

 

 

 

 

Longwan Lake National Forest Park is located in the southeast of Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a national forest park integrating waterfalls, Longtan, deep streams, blue lakes, strange peaks and strange rocks, with a total planned area of 1650.8 hectares.

 

Zhejiang Longwan Lake National Forest Park is located in the Yandang Mountain range, with the highest altitude of 997.5 meters (Zhengjiang mountain). It belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate, with a forest coverage rate of 95.2%. The vegetation is dominated by the subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, with 162 families, 1014 species of vascular plants and more than 100 species of animals. 

 

In 2002, Zhejiang Longwan lake was approved as a national forest park.

 

Lion Rock

 

 

 

 

Lion rock is located in Nanxi River scenic area. It is two small islets in the front pond of the West Bank village of Yantou town. Standing on the bank, looking at the strange rock in the water, it looks like a lion playing ball, so it is called lion rock. This area has charming scenery and is the natural bonsai of Nanxi River. One of the islets in Lion rock is like a lion, with grotesque rocks all over. He holds his head high and opens his mouth, and sits facing the current. Another islet looks like a ball, called "lion ball islet". It is covered with trees and lush grass. The river wind blows, and the crown of the tree sways, just like a ball rolling. During the day, the shadow of lion rock  is thrown into the mirror like pool, majestic and charming, with thousands of styles. In the evening, the bright moon is in the sky, the bamboo raft team, and the cormorants catch brook fish. The fishing lights shine through the river. The lights are dim under the blue waves, weaving a real and illusory water world.

 

Twelve peaks

 

 

 

 

Twelve peaks are located in daroyan scenic area, about 2 kilometers away from Taogong cave. It is a group of peaks formed by the crustal uplift of rhyolite due to joint weathering and water erosion.

 

They are perse and similar, lifelike and shifting. It is named Baoguan peak, Xianglu peak, Xianzhang peak, Tianzhu peak, lotus peak, Zhanqi peak, stalagmite peak, Hengqin peak, Zhuo Bi peak, rhinoceros horn peak, Shibei peak and Tongzi peak. The twelve peaks are towering, and the peaks are often shrouded in clouds. If hidden, if the same, it is complicated and confusing. It is a treasure given by nature to Nanxi River.

 

The highest peak is Baoguan peak, with an altitude of 517 meters. Tianzhu peak is like a pillar holding the sky high. It rises from the mountainside, with a relative height of about 250 meters, which is very spectacular.

 

Yandang Mountain

 

 

 

 

 

Yandang Mountain, the first batch of national key scenic spots, the national "health mountain, safety mountain, civilized mountain", the national civilized scenic spot, the national AAAAA tourist area, the demonstration site of the national civilized scenic spot, "World Geopark" and other titles. Located in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, China, some are located in Yongjia County and Wenling City. It is named "Yandang Mountain" because there is a lake full of reeds on the main peak Yanhu hill, where autumn geese fly south every year.
