Nanxi Academy

 

Nanxi academy is located in shiweiyan scenic spot, Hesheng Town, Yongjia, Wenzhou. It is a comprehensive architectural community integrating art museum, museum, artist studio and artist sketching base. The main goal is to build Wenzhou pilot base for the revival of Chinese traditional culture, the center of Chinese traditional painting practice and research ,the center of Yongjia school research. Yubei ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yubei village was originally a settlement of the Xu family and was founded in the Tang Dynasty. In the Southern Song Dynasty, the two brothers Wang Yingchen, the Minister of the Ministry of officials, moved to live in seclusion here for 35 generations. The whole village is like a paradise described by Tao Yuanming. There are also historic sites in Yubei village, such as the "Lotus grave" of Xu's ancestor, the "old lady's grave" of Wang's, "Feng Shui Gang", and the memorial Pavilion of the armed uprising in Yubei.

 

Linkeng ancient village

 

 

 

 

 

Linkeng ancient village is located in Huangnan Township in the north of Yongjia County, 75 kilometers away from Shangtang of Yongjia County. Linkeng is a mountain residential settlement with a long history and profound heritage, with a history of more than 700 years. The village is dominated by the surname Mao, with a total of 128 households and 486 people. It is the most completely preserved mountain folk house in Nanxi River. The village is ancient, beautiful in water and beautiful in mountains. Some people call it a jade buried in the mountains. Linkeng cottages are built from both sides of a stone slab bridge to the mountain, and the roof tiles are adjacent to each other. A typical house with bamboo and wood as supporting structure in southern Zhejiang has white brick walls and bluish black tiles. Trickling under the bridge, exposed pebbles, some of the bleak taste of Zhejiang landscape in winter.

Tourists who have been to lingshang people's house know that roasted whole sheep, which is crisp outside and tender inside, is a local specialty with great flavor. Every weekend, the farmhouses of 11 families on the ridge, which can accommodate 1000 people, are almost full, and the cars parked by the road are several kilometers long.
