"When London meets Wenzhou" - cloud dialogue between Chinese and British artists and the launch of documentary which was sponsored by Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism and hosted by Yongjia Nanxi academy,  was held in Yongjia Nanxi Academy on September 28. Zhu Yunhua, Secretary of the Party group and director of the Municipal Bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism, Li Fangxi, member of the Party group and deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism, Zhou Huaizhong, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Dai Chunguang, member of the Party group of Yongjia County government and director of Nanxijiang tourism economic development center, Pan jiaoqin, director of the Bureau of culture, radio, television, tourism and sports of Yongjia County, and other leaders attended the event.Ann Brockley, Margaret Horner, Claire fried, Neil Adams, Zhou Gang, Zhu Sha, Zhuang Zhong, Zhou Jianpeng and other Chinese and British artists were invited to participate in the exchange activities.

When we think about the history of Western art development, we will think of Greek art, Roman art, Renaissance art, impressionist art, contemporary art, etc. As an oriental, we must also think about the difference between Chinese art as the representative of Oriental Art and Western art. Based on the possibility of the future development of human art and the future development of Chinese art, we have organized the exchange between oriental art represented by Chinese artists and Western art represented by European and American artists. Through cultural exchange, we have established the cooperation and friendship between Chinese and artists from different countries in culture and art.

"When London meets Wenzhou" - the cloud dialogue between Chinese and British artists and the debut of the documentary were held at Nanxi academy, Yongjia, Wenzhou at 17:00 Beijing time and 10:00 London time on September 28, 2020. This activity which belongs to one belt, one road, cultural exchange, is another cultural exchange between China and English. The documentary shows Wenzhou in the eyes of British artists, which will realize the role of Wenzhou cultural image publicity and cultural tourism promotion. It is Wenzhou People's thinking and attention to economic development and culture in the 40 years of reform and opening up.

It is understood that "when London meets Wenzhou" - the cloud dialogue between Chinese and British artists and the opening ceremony of the documentary is a series of activities of "when London meets Wenzhou" - Chinese and British artists' sketching and exhibition in Wenzhou held in September 2019, It is also the fourth international cultural and artistic exchange activity after the "when Paris meets Wenzhou - Wenzhou sketch and exhibition of Chinese and French artists" held from May 2018 to April 2019. The "meet" series of activities explored a new mode of in-depth international cultural and artistic exchange. This activity injected new vitality into the innovative development of Wenzhou's cultural and tourism industry. Through the in-depth cultural and artistic exchanges of "please come in" and "come in", promote Wenzhou tourism destinations and beautiful villages, so as to spread the cultural and natural landscape of Wenzhou all over the world.

The event planner and postdoctoral of Peking University, Professor Zhou Jianpeng said that since the original intention of the event "when Paris meets Wenzhou", I wanted to organize artists from China and other countries to try and explore the relationship between nature and creation through cultural and artistic exchanges and thinking. Through their exchanges, we will start our thinking on the development of eastern and Western cultures in the past five or six hundred years, and also enhance the friendship and cultural recognition between the two countries from the exchanges between artists and artists. Britain has led the development of the world for hundreds of years, absorbed world culture and opened the exploration of human wisdom. Artistically, the Renaissance began in Italy and soon affected Britain. Many artists appeared in Britain and many classic works were born. Therefore, we put the thinking of the development of Western art in the period from the Renaissance to the birth of Impressionism in London.

It is reported that the event is pided into three parts: "when London meets Wenzhou" - cloud dialogue between Chinese and British artists on the "trip to Wenzhou", the opening ceremony of documentary which is about Chinese and British artists' sketch and exhibition in Wenzhou, and the exhibition of Chinese traditional literature and art.
