The "meeting Dali" - Invitation Exhibition of works of Chinese and Western artists opened at the "Zhonghe academy" in Zhonghe village  of  Dali on March 13.The event was hosted by Dali University and Dali Provincial Tourism Resort Management Committee, co sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Dali state committee, the Dali CPPCC calligraphy and painting room, the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University, the school of Chinese painting and calligraphy of the Chinese Academy of fine arts, Yunnan Artists Association, the school of art and design of Yunnan University, the Academy of fine arts of Yunnan Normal University and the Dali Federation of literary and artistic circles, and organized by the school of art of Dali University, the West Yunnan Institute of national art of Dali University, Dali OCT and Dali Zhonghe academy. It was strongly supported by the Foreign Affairs Office of Dali people's government, Dali culture and Tourism Bureau, UK China Economic and Cultural Promotion Association and other organizations and institutions.

The activity is pided into "meeting Dali" - Invitation Exhibition of works of Chinese and Western artists, the founding ceremony of Zhonghe academy, academic seminar on ethnic art research and creation in western Yunnan, sketch on the Silk Road and other links, which will last until April 23.
