London Academy Design Concept

London Academy is located at the Asia center of east of London, UK. With galleries, art libraries, art lectures, tearooms, etc. inside the building.

The London Academy is positioned as an international platform for artistic and cultural exchanges, working with the British-Chinese Association for Economic and Cultural Promotion to promote Chinese-British cultural exchanges.

The London Academy covers eight main areas:

Chinese and Western Cultural Forum; International Art Exhibition;

International Art Tour; Chinese Tea Culture;

Chinese and English Fashion Week; Dance Art Festival;

Movie and TV media; Vegetarian culture.

We hope that the traditional Chinese culture can be integrated with western traditional culture through the art academy, and help to promote international exchanges. The London Academy integrates Chinese and Western arts through various projects, and combines arts and finance closely with the location of the London Academy, so as to achieve the goal of promoting international exchanges between culture and art.

London Academy will help the cultural exchange and communication between China, Britain and Europe through art, and build a platform for the exchange of traditional Chinese culture and Western culture.

Functional Distribution of London Academy:

1. Art Seminar

Chinese and Western art theorists set up the art lectures to provide an aesthetic feast for art enthusiasts in London. Hold the international theoretical seminars. Establish the academic brand of London Academy. Hold the International seminar on Art Theory of "London Theory – Xiang thinking and Chinese and Western Painting" in London.

2. Art Exhibition

Organize exhibitions for Chinese and Western artists and art institutions, and set up the international exhibition space of "London Academy". We will start the prelude of Sino-British cultural exchanges “When London Meets Beijing” in October 2019.

3. Art Tour

Provide a sketching platform for Chinese and Western artists and art students. Build the International sketching base of London Academy. Launch “the London Tour” Project.

4. Chinese Tea Culture

Build a platform for the exchange of Chinese tea culture in London Academy. A wide range of tea culture exchanges with the countries along the line of “the belt and the road” and countries around the world. At the same time, it disseminates and promotes Chinese traditional culture.

5. Sino-British Fashion Week

China is a multi-ethnic country with exquisite and distinctive clothes. We will invite 56 ethnic groups of clothes and fashions to the center and famous British fashion design colleges, companies and designers to hold fashion weeks, fashion shows and awards to make it a brand and influential.

6. Chinese Dance Festival

With Beijing Dance Academy, Shanghai Dance Academy, Central Academy of National Dance, Chinese Opera, Dance Theatre and the famous professional art academy in Britain, the theatre troupe regularly hold various kinds of national and modern dance art exchanges and competitions, and set up Chinese and English “Taoli Cup” and “Hehua Cup”.

7. Film and TV Media

Film and television companies and media companies are set up here to make films, scenery films and MV in the UK, and to make private customization services for weddings in the UK.

8. Vegetarian Restaurant

A vegetarian restaurant named “Yongtaizhai” will be opened in the original restaurant location of the building hall. (According to our investigation, there is no vegetarian restaurant with Buddhist cultural concept in London, which is opened by Chinese people that can meet the vegetarian people's pursuit of vegetarianism in the central region of Asia.)
