At 10 am, on May 13, 2018, "When Paris Meets Wenzhou—Sketching and Exhibition by Chinese and French Artists" has officially started at Nanxi Academy in Shiweiyan, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City. This event was pided into three parts: Themed Exhibition, Academic Forum, Sketch and Creation. As the first project of Nanxi Academy after its establishment, Wenzhou government departments at all levels and people from all walks of life have been supportive of the Art Exchange between Chinese French Art Exchange.

The event is organized by Wenzhou Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Wenzhou Tourism Bureau, Wenzhou Cultural Broadcasting and News Bureau, Wenzhou Cultural Industry Promotion Association and Yongjia People's Government, The Propaganda Department of Yongjia County Committee, United Front Department of Yongjia County Committee, Yongjia Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, Lucheng District Landscape Tourism Administration Bureau of Wenzhou City, Yandangshan Landscape Tourism Administration Committee of Wenzhou, Nanxi River Landscape Tourism Administration Committee of Wenzhou and Yongjia County People's Government, Broadcasting TV Press and Publishing Bureau of Yongjia, and Hesheng Town People's Government. Co-organized by French Artists Association and Nanxi Academy. "When Paris Meets Wenzhou—Sketching and Exhibition by Chinese and French Artists" exhibited about 60 works of 22 Chinese and French artists. They are Remy Aron, Andre Boubounelle, Poerre Le Cacheux, Philippe Dequesne, Olivierde Maziere，Albert Hadijiganev, Natalie Miel, Clementine Odier, Jean-Daniel Bouvard, Liu Xilin, Cheng Dali, Yin Shula, Qi Enjin, Cai Ruirong, Zhang Gumin, Cheng Hang, Li Jiangfeng, Zhusha, Li Xuefeng, Zhuang Zhong, Xia Libin, and Zhou Jianpeng.
