Fontainebleau Academy Design Concept

Fontainebleau Academy is located in the southern suburb of Paris, France, 60 kilometers from the village of Barbizon, this place is the birthplace of the Fontainebleau School and the Barbizon School, 10 kilometers away from the famous Château de Fontainebleau.

Fontainebleau Academy covers an area of 5 mu（3333 (㎡)）, with Fontainebleau Art Museum, Chinese and French Art Library, Chinese and Western Art Lecture Hall, Tearoom, etc. inside. The academy has catering department and accommodation department as logistics support.  Fontainebleau Academy is positioned as an international cultural exchange platform, an international sketching base and a youth aesthetic education base.

Functional Distribution of Fontainebleau Academy:

1. Art Seminar

Chinese and Western art theorists hold art lectures to provide aesthetic feasts for Chinese and French art enthusiasts. Hold international theoretical seminars. Establish the academic brand of Fontainebleau Academy. Then, since 2016, "Hengshan Theory School", "Yongjia Theory School ", "Tianmuhu Theory School ", "Pengcheng Theory School " and in 2020, an International seminar on "Paris Theory School " was held in France.

2. Art Exhibition

Organize exhibitions for Chinese and Western artists and art institutions, and set up the international exhibition space of " Fontainebleau Academy". After "When Paris Meets Wenzhou" in 2019, the second large-scale exhibition will be held, "Qianlong pacified Junggar Copper Printing and Zhou Jianpeng’s Xinjiang Theme Exhibition"“

3. Art Tour

Provide a sketching platform for Chinese and Western artists and art students. Build the International sketching base of Fontainebleau Academy. Launch “the Paris Art Tour” Project in July 2019.

The academy has signed the contract with sketch bases of China Academy of Arts, the school of Fine Arts in Southwest University, the school of Fine Arts in Sichuan University, the school of Fine Arts in Peking University, the school of Fine Arts in Tsinghua University, Wenzhou University College of Fine Arts and Design, and the school of Fine Arts in Xinjiang Normal University.

4. Art Education

In order to provide a platform for Chinese art students to enter the world famous art schools, art teaching classes are opened in Paris, and professors in the eight major art colleges of the world are invited to teach.
