Hongluo academy is located 200 meters south of Hongluo temple, which is an ancient temple in the suburbs of Beijing, with unique natural landscape and rich cultural heritage. Initiated by Zhou Jianpeng, doctor, School of fine arts, Tsinghua University, and postdoctoral fellow, School of art, Peking University, the third art intervention rural project was established after Ruoxi Art Village and Nanxi Academy in Yongjia, Wenzhou.

 

 

The Academy originated from the private study in the Tang Dynasty and the Yamen where the government sorted out the classics. It is a cultural and educational organization for ancient Chinese scholars to carry out various activities including book collection, reading, teaching, lecturing, writing, engraving and other activities around books, and to carry out cultural accumulation, research, creation and dissemination.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a source of poetry that can be lived and traveled, and an aesthetic space that can be painted and washed. This is a home stay for aesthetic education to see the city, the mountains and rivers, and the scenery. This is a cultural humanities and nature China rural art museum.

 

 

 

Since its opening in 2018, Hongluo academy has made it its mission to revive Chinese traditional culture and become a scholarly place for Huairou to live alone, bringing tranquility and poetic charm to many tourists. It is particularly worth mentioning that the bookstore donated by Ding Ning, a professor of Peking University, is deeply loved by the public. They stop here, hold books, and have a quiet heart, which is quite beneficial. Therefore, Hongluo academy decided to solicit Book donations to serve more readers.
