A few years ago, taking the opportunity of the transformation of his old house, Zhou Jianpeng returned to shangrichuan village. He named the reconstructed farmhouse "Maolin Youqu", which is also the first home stay of the brand "Ruoxi jingshe". It can provide services such as calligraphy and painting appreciation and tourist reception.

Subsequently, with the support of the village collective, he turned the old ancestral hall into a calligraphy hall, helped the villagers transform their houses and open bars. So far, the whole village has successfully built 20 guest houses, bars and teahouses, and has become the sketch base of the school of urban design of the Central Academy of fine arts and the sketch base of the school of fine arts and design of Wenzhou University, receiving an average of 30000 to 40000 people a year.

Zhou Song, member of the Party branch of shangrichuan village, said in an interview: "the village will also hold a public welfare summer camp. Please invite university professors from Hainan to teach children to write, draw and play Tai Chi for free. More importantly, the concept of the people in the village has changed greatly, and the environment is completely different from that in the past!"

In Zhou Jianpeng's view, as a part of culture, the implantation of art can bring qualitative changes to the countryside, not only the economic development and cultural injection, but also the improvement of villagers' aesthetic quality and spiritual civilization. This is the concept of "Art + countryside".

With the in-depth practice of the concept of "Art + village", in recent years, Zhou Jianpeng successively founded Nanxi Academy , planned a series of Sino foreign art exchange activities in his hometown, deeply explored version 2.0 of the mode of "art implanted in the village", and created a new international business card through the in-depth cultural and art exchange of "please come in" and "go in".

Zhou Jianpeng said: "Version 1.0 is our initial attempt to promote the basic development of rural areas. Version 2.0 is the beginning of our exploration of industrial development, so that Chinese culture can really go global. At the same time, we will lead western artists into China and let them understand Chinese culture. There are great possibilities for the future development of Chinese rural areas. At the Summit Forum about China Yongjia 2019 Rural Revitalization  held in November last year, the local government signed a contract with Zhou Jianpeng to jointly build "China's most beautiful international landscape painting base". Next, Zhou Jianpeng plans to build a Nanxi rural Art Research Institute next to the Nanxi River Station of Hangzhou Wenzhou high speed railway to create version 3.0 of "art implanted in the countryside" of "culture + tourism + education + agriculture + health".
