Since its opening in may2018, Nanxi Art Museum has held the activity of "when Paris meets Wenzhou - Wenzhou sketch and exhibition of Chinese and French artists", displaying more than 60 pieces of Chinese paintings and oil paintings by 22 Chinese and French artists. This is a collision between Chinese elegant culture and Western brilliant art. It is a high-level exchange in the cultural exchange category of the the Belt and Road. Works of art and art exhibitions created by Chinese and French artists have played a role in publicizing Wenzhou's cultural image and promoting tourism. Twenty outstanding Chinese and French artists' sketching and creative activities in Wenzhou for nearly 15 days have presented a large number of works with the theme of Wenzhou's cultural and natural landscape, such as Yandang xiaolongqiu, jiangxinyu, Nanxi River, Ruoxi Art Village, etc. This activity will continue until the "Wenzhou sketch works exhibition of Chinese and French artists" is held in Versailles next year.

Nanxi academy sketching base is pided into Ruoxi Art Village and shiweiyan. The former can receive more than 200 people at the same time, while the latter can receive more than 100 people.
