The cross-strait famous artists' cloud exchange and calligraphy and painting exhibition of "cross-strait unity • context inheritance" was held in Yongjia, Wenzhou from November 12 to December 15, 2021.The exchange was hosted by the Taiwan compatriots Association of Yongjia County and undertaken by Yongjia Nanxi Academy.This activity is pided into several activity units, such as sketching exchange, on-site painting, cloud forum and simultaneous exhibition of cross-strait artists' works. It is the second activity after Yongjia's "nostalgic memory - cloud forum of cross-strait artists" for cultural exchange with Taiwan in 2020.From November 12 to 19, artists will carry out sketching activities in Lishui ancient street, Cangpo ancient village, Shiwei rock, shizi rock, Nanxi River, Yandang Mountain and other places. On the morning of November 15, they will live broadcast their paintings in Yongjia Nanxi academy and hold a cloud exchange Symposium.At the symposium, artists on both sides of the Strait spoke freely, from "the development of calligraphy and painting art on both sides of the Taiwan Strait" to "creative practice and exchange in the post epidemic era", from "landscape poetry and landscape painting" to "the development of aesthetic education for young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait".Artists have expressed such activities very meaningful, fully demonstrate the same roots and inheriting the Chinese culture together of the pursuit which is the two sides of the compatriots on both sides of the Straits.Artist representatives Zhou Jianpeng and Zhou Qinyao also donated their works to the municipal Taiwan Federation and the County Taiwan Federation respectively, the Chinese painting landscape Qinghui and the oil painting stone mast rock.Zhang Zhenyu, President of Wenzhou Taiwan Federation, and Xie Chengyu, deputy director of Yongjia County CPC Committee Office and President of Yongjia County Taiwan Federation, attended the on-site activities.The on-site artists participating in the cloud exchange include Chen Shi, Ling Zhongxiang, Zhou Qinyao, Zhou Jianpeng, Lin Xiaosheng, and Xu Jinming, President of the Taiwan Youth Association of "building a dream Wenzhou". The artists connected to the cloud include Zhou Gang, Lin quanju, Xie Yahui, Huang Xinrong, etc.

Yongjia is the birthplace of Chinese landscape poetry, the birthplace of Yongjia school and the birthplace of farming and reading culture. The event took calligraphy and painting as the media to further enrich the platform for cross-strait cultural exchanges and jointly promote the development of cross-strait cultural and art cooperation. We look forward to taking this event as an opportunity for more people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to further understand Yongjia's farming and reading culture and excellent Chinese traditional culture, the contemporary creation of artists on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the aesthetic education of the young generation on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. We hope that through deep cultural exchanges, we can jointly promote the cooperation and development of China's cultural and tourism industries,developing the fine traditional Chinese culture, and make positive contributions to the realization of the great dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
